Seattle Smart Lipo – Liposuction Body Contouring

Seattle Smart LipoLiposuction has been for decades the only way to rid the body of extra fatty deposits. Typically a surgical procedure, liposuction works by making small incisions in the skin, and using suction to remove the excess fat from the body. Liposuction has been proven safe and effective for years, but as with any surgery, there are risks involved. Here at the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery, we understand why many patients may balk at the risks associated with liposuction. We offer smart lipo in Seattle for those patients that would like liposuction with a non-surgical option.

Smart lipo is actually performed with lasers, using our Smarlipo TRIPLEX system. Three unique wavelengths are used on the body’s tissues to accomplish liposuction when before only surgery was an option. In addition to being more safe, smart lipo is actually more precise as well. Our doctor, Dr. Zemplenyi, is actually able to make more precise contours and sculpt the body more finely using smart lipo as opposed to surgery.

Liposuction, whether surgical or non-surgical, is optimal for both men and women. Men and women typically target different areas of the body, however. Men have a tendency to address areas in their chin and neck, while women target the stomach and breast area. Any area of the body is a candidate for liposuction provided that there is firm, elastic skin over extra fatty deposits.

It should be noted, however, that liposuction is not an alternative to weight loss and health. While lip does remove fat, it is not a replacement for eating well and exercising. Our patients often find liposuction to be a jump-start to healthier living.
