Rhinoplasty in Tacoma
There are many different reasons that patients choose to elect to have cosmetic surgery. Some want to look younger, others want to be thinner, and others want to target a certain areas of the body, such as the nose. Rhinoplasty is another term for nasal surgery, more commonly known as a “nose job.” The most common reason for nasal surgery is to minimize the size of the nose, but there can be other reasons, such as breathing difficulties or wanting removal of bumps and ridges. No matter the reason, here at the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery, we offer rhinoplasty in Tacoma to our patients so that they can regain self-confidence, always looking and feeling their best.
Our resident physician is Dr. Jan Zemplenyi, a graduate of UCLA who is been in his field since 1989. Dr. Zemplenyi is an expert on facial surgery, including reconstruction. He can perform any type of nasal procedure, but also specializes in ethnic and revision rhinoplasty. Revision rhinoplasty is essentially a do-over, when a person has had a previous rhinoplasty with less-than-desirable results.
The doctor uses computer-generated images to confer with patients, so doctor and patient can best decide on the course of action for surgery. Rhinoplasty is a procedure that require anesthesia. All of our surgeries in the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery are done in the office, and we offer both twilight sedation and full, general anesthesia. During consultation, patient and doctor can best decide what works for them.
