Rhinoplasty in Olympia
Also known as nasal surgery, rhinoplasty is one of the most common and popular types of cosmetic surgery that is available in the United States. Commonly referred to as a “nose job,” rhinoplasty allows patients to minimize the size of their nose, or even to augment it. No two types of rhinoplasty surgery are the same, and patients elect to have the surgery for many different reasons. Sometimes there is a medical purpose behind rhinoplasty, and patients can breathe easier after a cleft lip or deviated septum has been fixed. No matter the reason for surgery, here at the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery, we offer rhinoplasty in Olympia to all of our patients, to help regain their self-confidence and self-esteem.
Our resident physician is Dr. Jan Zemplenyi, and he has been in the field of plastic and cosmetic surgery since 1989, with exceptional results. An expert in facial surgery, Dr. Zemplenyi can perform many different types of rhinoplasty to completely suit a patient’s needs. In addition to nasal reconstruction, the doctor can also perform ethnic rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty. Revision rhinoplasty is essentially a do-over of another cosmetic surgeon’s work; it is performed when a patient is not happy with their results, whether it be cosmetic, or a medical issue.
The doctor uses computer-generated imagery to assist in showing the patient how their “new” nose will look, and patients are advised every step of the way before the process of surgery begins. Rhinoplasty is a procedure that requires anesthesia. All of our surgeries are performed right in the Bel-Red office, and it is up to the patient to decide whether they would prefer twilight anesthesia or full, general anesthesia.
