Rhinoplasty in Bellevue

Rhinoplasty is one of the most common types of cosmetic surgery that is performed in the United States. To many people, it is also known as nasal surgery or a “nose job.” There are many different ways to perform rhinoplasty, and no two surgeries are ever alike. The reasons for a patient electing to have rhinoplasty vary. Many patients want to make a nose smaller, or minimize a portion of the nose. Other patients may also want to rid the nose of unsightly bumps or ridges. No matter the reason, here at the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery, we offer rhinoplasty in Bellevue to our patients, with the assistance of Dr. Jan Zemplenyi, our resident physician.

Dr. Zemplenyi will sit down individually with each patient, fully discussing options well before surgery, and will use computerized imaging to help a patient visualize what their nose will look like after surgery. It is incredibly important to keep the nose in proportion with the rest of the face. For those that would like a smaller nose, this must be kept in mind. The doctor can also use skin patches to perform surgery, can rid patients of a cleft lip nose, and can restructure the entire alignment of the nose.

In practice since 1989, Dr. Zemplenyi is an expert at facial surgery and rhinoplasty, and also performs revision rhinoplasty.  This is performed on patients who have had a prior unsuccessful rhinoplasty, including a surgery that has caused them breathing difficulties.

Rhinoplasty does require anesthesia, and all surgeries are performed right in our office. Patients can either choose twilight anesthesia or general anesthesia, depending on their preference.
