Bothell Plastic Surgery – Plastic Surgeon Procedures
Patients elect to have plastic surgery for a number of different reasons. Some patients want to reduce the look of fine lines or winkles on the face, while some want to remove fat and look slimmer. Other patients elect to have cosmetic surgery for medical reasons. When a patient is looking to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, eyelid surgery is often a good first step. Also known as blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery can help reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and can help minimize droopiness and sagging around the eyes, which happens naturally as we age. Here at the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery, we offer eyelid surgery in Bothell for our patients, as well as many other surficial and non-surgical procedures.
Eyelid surgery is performed with the use of incisions around the eyes and eyelids. After these incisions are made, fatty deposits and excess skin are removed, creating a thinner, tighter look. A minor surgery, eyelid surgery can be performed either with full anesthesia or with twilight sedation. Both are available at the Bel-Red offices. Our resident physician, Dr. Jan Zemplenyi, performs blepharoplasty procedures.
Dr. Zemplenyi has been in practice since 1989 and is a graduate of UCLA. He is also board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and by the American Board of Otolaryngology. With a long list of patient testimonials and success stories, Dr. Zemplenyi is truly patient-oriented. He will sit with each patient individually, well before surgery, to discuss all of the expectations and outcomes that go along with surgery.
