What can I expect during treatment of raised moles and skin lesions?

Once the anesthetic is applied the removal is usually painless with resulting elimination of the lesion. The area is first cleaned for sterility and the lesion is removed with the appropriate instrument to achieve the intended result. An ointment and dressing is then applied if appropriate.
