What can I expect post-procedure?

You will see almost immediate improvement in the appearance of the skin. Depending on the size and depth of the lesion and method of treatment, the skin surface must be given time to heal. A dressing and ointment may be applied. There will be initial redness in the treatment area which gradually resolves to regular skin color over days or weeks depending on the individual’s healing ability. If there is any doubt about the behavior of the lesion, it should be sent to pathology to determine whether it is benign or has malignant potential.
