Eyelid Surgery in Kirkland
Plastic surgery is performed for a number of different reasons. Some patients want to look younger, while others want to minimize fine lines and wrinkles on the face, or remove fat from the body. Some patients elect to have plastic surgery for medical reasons. When a patient considers an eyelid lift, it typically is reduce the look of aging on the face, and to minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Also known as blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery can help reduce the look of sagging or droopiness around the eyes. Additionally, many patients do elect to have eyelid surgery for medical reasons, as it can significantly broaden the field of vision for a patient. Here at the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery, we offer eyelid surgery in Kirkland to our patients, as well as many other surgical and non-surgical procedures.
Under the guidance of Dr. Jan Zemplenyi, blepharoplasty is performed by making small incisions around the eye area, and removing the excess skin and fatty deposits. This tightens the skin, removing fine lines, wrinkles, and droopiness. A minor surgery, eyelid surgery can be performed with either full anesthesia or with twilight sedation. As both are available in the Bel-Red offices, doctor and patient will decide what is best.
A graduate of UCLA, Dr. Zemplenyi has been in practice since 1989, with a long list of patient testimonials and success stories. He is also board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He spends ample time with each patient to fully discuss all outcomes and expectations of each individual type of surgery.
