Blepharoplasty in Everett

Blepharoplasty in EverettWhile many patients have probably never heard of the term, blepharoplasty is one of the most common cosmetic procedures that is offered today. Also known as an eye lid lift or eye lid surgery, blepharoplasty can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face, so that patients can look – and feel – younger. Regaining self-esteem and confidence back is often an important part of cosmetic surgery. However, blepharoplasty is also performed for medical reasons. For some patients, the procedure exponentially enlarges the field of vision, so that patients can see easier and better. Here at the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery, we offer all types of blepharoplasty in Everett to our patients, with our resident physician, Dr. Jan Zemplenyi.

Dr. Zempleyni has been practicing since 1989, and is an expert in the field of facial surgery. A graduate of UCLA, the doctor has a long list of patient testimonials and success stories. He sits down individually with each patient for a lengthy consultation, so that expectations and outcomes of every type of surgery can be discussed. With the aid of computer-generated imagery, he can show a patient a very adequate estimation of how they will look after the surgery. It is important to keep in mind that this procedure does require anesthesia, and here at the Bel-Red Center for Aesthetic Surgery we offer both twilight and full anesthesia.

The surgery is performed with the use of small incisions around the eyes, and the removal of fatty tissue and unneeded skin. After the surgery, the incisions are closed so that the patient can heal. It is a very safe and common procedure, and is only considered a minor surgery.
